FINAL QORAN READING COMPETITION FOR PENGHULUS & KETUA KAMPONGS BRUNEI DARUSSALAM
Today, 29th August 2008, the Final Qoran reading competition was held in Muhibah Hall at the Berakas Old Airport.
The guest of honour was Pehin Orang Kaya Johan Pahlawan Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Adanan bin Begawan Pehin Siraja Khatib Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Mohd. Yusof, the Minister of Home Affairs.
As usual every participants showing their very best in reading the phrase from the Qoran.
After all the 10 participants of the Qoran reading competition ends, the judges are totaling up all the marks and the committee are preparing the gifts.
and THE WINNER for this event is
the Ketua Kampong Perpindahan Lambak Kanan, Mukim Berakas 'B'.

Today 20th August 2008, I got a chance to visit my friend at his office and I was stunned when I saw Kampong Ayer from the top view... Hopefully One of this day we could have a helicopter ride from Kampong Tamoi Ujung till Pekan Muara. No harm done when we are dreaming dude...

QORAN READING COMPETITION FOR PENGHULU AND KAMPONG KETUA
On Monday, 18th August 2008 was held a Qoran Reading Competition For Penghulus and Kampong Ketua in Brunei Muara District at Sufri Bolkiah Mosque in Kampong Jaya Setia, Perpindahan Berakas. Well.. Thumbs Up for the organizing committee.
The Guest of Honour was the Permanent Secretary at the Home Affairs Pengiran Abdul Harris Pengiran Haji Shahbuddin.
There are Seven participants in the competition.
And the 3rd place winner is
The Penghulu's of Mukim Berakas 'B'. Well done and round up applause for all the winner.

Firework Diplay in Bandar Seri Begawan
Awesome... The firework display at Bandar Seri Begawan and it thus really attract big crowd and even some of them arrive in Bandar Seri Begawan as early as 4.30 pm... Well.. I tell you it's really worth waiting... Well after that big night some more firework display follows at The Empire Hotel and Country Club and even in Serasa Beach...
His Majesty With His Loyal Subjects
'DAULAT KEBAWAH DULI TUAN PATEK'
'Bersama Rakyat' was held after the 15th July. It was held at Tutong, Kuala Belait, Brunei Muara and Temburong. This is the chance of all His Highness Loyal Subjects in the country to face and shake hands with their loving ruler.
Those day were full of laughter and joy to all the people and it's also obviously seen from His Majesty's Expression.
Brunei Sultan's Birthday Celebration
On th 15th of July 2008, at Sultan Omar Ali Saiffudien's Field in Bandar Seri Begawan, His Majesty the Sultan of Brunei were inspecting the 'Barisan Kehormat' in conjunction of His Majesty's Birthday.
On that night His Highness held a dinner for all his Government Officers at Nurul Iman Palace and Firework Display lighten those memorable night.
